Anna Semenova-Ganz is dance dramaturge, movement researcher and choreographer.
After graduation from Performance Studies (MA) she lives and works in Hamburg.
Anna combines together her interest in in dance history and body politics and acts both as a research dramaturge, facilitating movement research processes and laboratory formats, and production dramaturge with focus on concept and composition.
Anna never invites collaborators to work “for idea” or “for experience” and considers that every work should be paid.
Before moving to Germany Anna graduated from Journalism Faculty in Moscow State University and worked as creative director in advertising agency, developing creative concepts for different brands, she took this skill for concept development into the dance-dramaturgy as well as her “editor” approach to textual or movement material.
Runs summer residency for artistic research "Lesnoye 11" near Moscow.
