Nobody knows exactly what happened after Odysseus‘ return. Three thousand years ago, different narrators offered different endings, but does it really matter how it all ends? For Semenova-Ganz and Chizhikova, the Odyssey is an endless, forced movement, an uncontrollable wandering, comparable to the forces of nature. The movement of refugees around the world represents a similar elemental force – the exodus and arrival in an unknown, foreign place, the diversity of people and their fates.

In the final part of the odyssee.hamburg trilogy, dancers use different techniques, dance styles and movement approaches to create an image of the simultaneous coexistence of different perspectives and forms of expression of being human.
